Coach Wade, who has been with the UNLV track & field program since 2013, was promoted to a full-time position in July 2016. Wade's primary focus is on the development of the sprinters and hurdlers. Wade is one of few coaches in the nation that has coached both a female sprinter and a male sprinter to sub-11 and sub-10 seconds in the 100 meters, respectively. He has also coached a male hurdler to sub-13 seconds in the 110m hurdles and a female hurdler to sub-13 seconds in the 100m hurdles. See more....
USATF Level 3
Neil Young (Coach Neil) serves as a catalyst to the success of many athletes competing at all levels, some have transitioned to collegiate ranks that hold World and American records in Combined Events, Jumps, and Sprints/Hurdles. 2012 recognized as an Emerging Elite Coach Sprints/Hurdles and in 2013 participated in the USATF/USOC Mater Coach Mentorship Program. Young has USATF Level 3 and IAAF Level V Academy Elite Coaching certifications (the highest attainable) in the Jump events. Additionally, he has a USATF Level 2 certification in Sprints, Hurdles & Relays events and Combined Events.
Mt. Hood CC
Fantroy brings more than 35 years of track and field experience to the program. A Level-1 United States of America Track and Field (USATF) certified coach, he has coached at the high school level and for the Dare to Dream Track Club. During his career, he’s trained more than 50 individual state champions, three USATF Youth National Champs, 15 USATF finalists and seven state record holders. He’s known fondly as the “Hurdle Doc” by his athletes and colleagues. See more....
Owner of Crouser's Elite Athlete
Mitch was the Big Sky champion in the shot put and discus. He was the 1984 U.S. Olympic Team alternate in the discus and a member of multiple U.S. National Teams with a best throw of 220’6”. Mitch now coaches his son and 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist, Ryan Crouser. Before winning Olympic gold Ryan broke the U.S. national high school indoor record in the shot put and the outdoor national high school record in the discus. Ryan has also won three NCAA titles in the shot put.
Coach Williams started coaching as a junior at the U of O ( 1965) under the guidance of Bill Bowerman. He then went on to coach Carolyn Walker to the World X C Championships using Bowerman’s principles. Recent coaching stops include Portland State University, Concordia University and Westview High School.
Coach England comes to us with am impressive
resume including coaching stops at the University of Kansas, Auburn University and most recently Tulane University. He has developed athletes who have won multiple NCAA Division 1 Conference Championships, USATF Championships and High School State Championships. See more....
NW Pole Vault
Tim Reilly has been an impactful leader of pole vault development in Washington State for 30 years. Director of Northwest Pole Vault Camps which has served over five thousand athletes and five hundred coaches. Coach Reilly is the author of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association’s pole vault safety certification curriculum and continues to direct annual re-certifications all Washington coaches must attend every three years.
